The
Blue Vase
A story of compassion and
sacrifice overcoming evil. Morgan Nightwing is seventeen when her
mother dies leaving her in poverty in south Louisiana. There is no
one to turn to for help, and she is frightened that her
abusive father might come for her. Not far down the lane, the evil
Fentress Malincorn has taken an interest in her. She is shocked when
she learns of a modest inheritance from Noel, a New Orleans
attorney, and meets her mother's cousin, Sam, a semi-retired
business entrepreneur. Life seems wonderful with her new
friends, especially the lawyer's daughter, Holly, who is near
Morgan's age. Without warning, Morgan and Holly are brutally
kidnapped by Malincorn and his gang. The young women are hidden away
in a remote fishing camp in the swamps while the men, along with
Morgan's evil father, search for a rare vase that they
believe to be of great value. One thing Morgan and Holly know for
certain: they will never leave the swamps alive unless they can
escape.

A story of corruption,
betrayal, and murder surrounding the building of a nuclear power
plant. Things begin to go wrong when tests at the Nightwing
Laboratory fail on materials scheduled to go into a nuclear
facility. The death of a business colleague and the disappearance of
Morgan's field tech coincide with the sudden arrest of her engineer
in charge of testing. Morgan finds herself in the middle of a
dangerous political game when she discovers serious flaws in the
construction of the concrete shields for a nuclear reactor.
The Color
of Ash
The electrical utilities business in California is
being pushed into bankruptcy by flawed regulations and corrupt
politics. Amy Dillon arrives fresh from Texas as the new
environmental manager for VRPA. When she discovers the theft and
illegal sales of waste ash from one of the generating facilities,
she persuades a truck driver she meets to help her find the persons
involved in the lucrative operation. Coincidently, two of the plant
managers are killed in a gruesome accident. As Amy investigates the
circumstance surrounding the accident, she suddenly finds herself
stalked by the same killers.
