A lot of people around
the world think of Dr. Frenzel as a subject expert in the field of surface
preparation using water jetting and water/abrasive blasting. After all,
she chairs standards committees in these subjects and holds regular
educational sessions for such organizations as SSPC and NACE. Her
publications and articles on various subjects are legion.
Dr. Frenzel has helped numerous businesses improve their bottom line and (it often seems) countless individuals who call on her broad areas of expertise for advice and encouragement when faced with new or unfamiliar challenges. She regularly travels around the world looking for new ways to introduce environmentally friendly technologies. She was probably the first woman, most assuredly the first American woman, to lecture to the Peruvian fishing industry on ship maintenance and environmental quality. With all this emphasis on her practical knowledge of the technology, we sometimes forget that she has also made significant contributions in such fields as cancer research and some very esoteric antifoulant chemistries. One shouldn't forget to mention that she involves herself in humanitarian projects like raising funds for children's hospitals in Russia. New Books by Dr. Frenzel may appear next year. Plans moved forward to publish under the name Zenfrel Daily, along with Chandler Thornton, a series of five hot action industrial thrillers containing plenty of violence, greed, and betrayal. In a recent comment on the Academy-Award-nominated movie, “Syriana,” Dr. Frenzel was quoted as saying that the movie “seemed just like my office.”
